God - There is one true God. God created the world and by His power He sustains all He has created (Genesis 1&2) (Isaiah 44:24) (Acts 4:24).
Jesus Christ - Jesus is the Son of God born of the virgin Mary (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38). He lived a sinless life and performed many miracles. He died on the cross as a sacrifice, paying the debt for our sins (Matthew 27:11-66). On the third day after His death He arose from the dead showing His victory over sin and death (Matthew 28:1-15). He appeared to His disciples and others, then ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of God (Matthew 28).
Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit dwells in the believer and empowers the believer. His presence in our life is for guidance and comfort. The Holy Spirit gives Christians spiritual gifts to be used in service to God (John 16:5-16)(Galatians 5:16-26) (I Corinthians 12:1-11) (Hebrews 2:4).
Salvation - The death of Jesus Christ on the cross is the only suffiecient payment for our sins. All have sinned, but all can be saved. This salvation is available for anyone. Those who strive to follow Christ should study to know God, repent of their sin, confess their faith and be baptized. Those who truly believe and follow God's teaching are secure and safe in God's grace (Romans 3:23-24, Romans 6:23) (John 3:16) (Acts 2:38).
Bible - The Bible is the inspired word of God (II Timothy 3:16).
Baptism - It is commanded by Jesus. It was preached by the Apostles (Romans 6:1-11) (Mark 1:4) (Act 22:16) (Rev. 1:5) (Matthew 28:18-20) (Mark 16:16) (Galatians 3:26-27) (I Corinthians 12:13).
Weekly Observance of The Lord's Supper - The example given to us was by Jesus on the night of his betrayal(Matthew 26:26-28). It is observed by Christians in memory of the Lord's death (I Corinthians 11:23-26). The emblems - unleavened bread and fruit of the vine - symbolize the body and blood of Jesus (I Corinthians 10:16). The Lord's Supper is observed on the first day of every week as was the practice of the First-Century church (Acts 20:7).
Acappella Singing - Acappella singing is the only music used in our worship. Musical instruments were not mentioned in the New Testament (Matthew 26:30) (Acts 16:25) (Romans 15:9) (I Corinthians 14:15) (Ephesians 5:18,19) (Colossians 3:16) (Hebrews 2:12).
